The Real Birth Company has been born from the idea that everyone should be able to access positive, affordable, evidence-based information. We believe totally that informative antenatal education is a vital part of pregnancy, and over the last 6 years our programme has been shared with 10,000’s of women.
The Real Birth Programme has been developed to look at birth with a modern approach. We use the latest up to date evidence-based information and is being constantly developed to move with the ever-changing maternity services.
WHAT WE DO?
The RealBirth Company is dedicated to empowering individuals guiding expecting parents toward positive pregnancy and birth experiences. Our ethos emphasizes a positive approach to birth, underpinned by our core values.
In just over a week of training, you’ll become proficient in facilitating both face-to-face and virtual workshops through our accredited antenatal teacher training program. This comprehensive programme, equips you to conduct 6-weekly sessions in various formats, ensuring a positive environment while supporting a deeper understanding of childbirth, caring for their baby and themselves postnatally, whilst presenting many of their options, choices and preferences.
Upon completion, you’ll earn certification as a registered RealBirth Programme Antenatal Educator and gain exclusive access to a supportive Hub. This Hub is a treasure trove of resources and information designed for your classes, accompanied by peer support from fellow RealBirth educators. Training videos and updates are readily available, offering ongoing assistance before you lead a class.
Our training enables you to establish and conduct your own antenatal sessions or personalised one-on-one classes within a private framework. If you’re an NHS professional, we have a tailored training programme specifically for you. Our course enriches you with advanced skills and methodologies for delivering evidence-based, positive antenatal education.

Furthermore, maintaining your registration as a RealBirth Antenatal Educator requires an annual fee of £125.00 set up by direct debit. This fee sustains your status as a registered teacher, resources and all continuous training, ensuring access to ongoing support and resources.
